Jayen Varma from India has been declared as the "Fastest Percussive Bassist in the World" BY HON'BLE REGISTRY OF OFFICIAL WORLD RECORDS (RECORD HOLDERS REPUBLIC)USA &U.K.. He is also into Believe the Unbelivable for 2009.
HE PLAYS BASS GUITAR LIKE Indian percussion Instrument TABLA/MRIDANGAM. SO IT IS UNIQUE. Now Globally many Bassists are adapting this Percussive slap Bass style. He started practicing this Tabla/Mridangam style on Bass Guitar 22years back, since he learned Mridangam from Mr.Parassala Ravi, who was the Principal of Government Run Music College in Kerala, India.
He is now in to RagaZZ. RagaZZ he does is a mix of Raga, Jazz and Funk.

The only (litle) problem is to find a producer wich listen my music, take it for a film..; and run to Oscar with his film... hi hi hi ! So I am sure that my Star will be shun to me for go to Hollywood.
